2012 Player Age Groups/Limits

Virginia Beach Little League offers seventeen divisions of Little League Baseball, Softball, & Challenger programs combined. Keeping the players within like age groups ensures the educational and physical attributes will be consistent for each player.

To ensure your player is placed in the correct age group and division at time of registration, please review the age brackets below and select accordingly.

Note: Brackets with an asterisk (*), denote exceptions to age requirement, See Local Rules (By Laws) for details.

Pre Tee Ball Baseball Division (Age 4  by April 30 of current year)

T-Ball Baseball Division (Ages 5 – 6 by April 30 of current year)

Coach Pitch Baseball Division (Ages 6 – 7 by April 30 of the current year) *

Minor Farm Division Baseball (Ages 7 – 8 by April 30 of the current year) *

Minor Baseball Division (Ages 9 – 10 by April 30 of the current year) *

Major Baseball Division (Ages 11 – 12 by April 30 of the current year)

Senior Baseball Division (Ages 13 – 16 by April 30 of the current year)

Big League Baseball Division (Ages 16 – 18 by April 30 of the current year)

Challenger Baseball Division (Ages 5 – 18 by April 30 of the current year)

Girls Softball T-Ball Division (Ages 5 – 6)

Fast Pitch Girls Softball Minor Division (Ages 7- 9)

Fast Pitch Girls Softball Major Division (Ages 10 -12)

Fast Pitch Girls Softball Junior Division (Ages 13-14)

Fast Pitch Girls Softball Senior Division (Ages 13-16)

Fast Pitch Girls Softball Big League Division (Ages 16-18)
