Founded in 1966, Virgina Beach Little League (VBLL) is one of the oldest youth sports organizations in Tidewater.  With a number of locations over the years including our previous location on Harpers Road to our current location on Firefall Drive, VBLL has always been proud to be part of the Little League organization and our place in the community.  Our number one goal has always been to provide a safe place for boys and girls to learn the value of sportsmanship, athletics and most of all the joy of playing ball.

VBLL fields baseball, softball and challenger teams for boys and girls ages 4 – 18 during the Spring and Fall seasons.  With more than 800 players in the spring and 450 in the fall, VBLL is one of the largest Little Leagues in Virginia.  Fielding more than 70 teams in baseball and softball from T-Ball through our Senior divisions we have a division for every child who wants to play ball.

VBLL’s All Star teams are always competitive and very often take home District 8 Championship banners.  Most years we are represented in one or more State Little League Tournaments.  Our tournament teams provide post-season opportunities for players 8 and up and add to the Little League experience.

We are a self-funded volunteer organization and receive no funding from the City of Virginia Beach.  100% of our registration, sponsorship, fundraising and snack-bar income goes back into our league to cover the expenses required to run a league of our size.  We encourage involvement from our players and parents and welcome anyone within our boundary who would like to play ball, volunteer or take a leadership position.  We are a community organization that succeeds because of our dedicated volunteers.

We hope you enjoy your time at VBLL and look forward to the hard work of making VBLL one of the best Little Leagues around.
